Role: Year 1/2 Teaching Assistant
Location: Runcorn
Salary: £430-£450 per week
Working Days: Monday to Friday (long-term)
Connex Education is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and compassionate teaching assistant to support two individulal children on a 1:1 basis. The role will require a teaching assistant with experience supporting children who need encouragement participating in all aspects of school life.You will spend the morning supporting a child wih social and emontional needs, and working the afternoon with an autistic child, experience in both aspects is essential to meet the individulal needs of each child, to help them thrive and intergrate into the classroom.

About the role:
As a KS1 teaching assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support to both children with special educational needs. The role requires a consistent, reliable, and adaptable TA who can contribute to building a positive school environment. Experience supporting children with special educational needs is essential for this role.

Qualifications and requirements:
- Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is desirable.
- Experience supporting children with SEN is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to adapt to different learning needs.
- It is essential that you have a DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain a new one through Connex.
