Middlesbrough

About the Role
Connex Education is partnering with primary schools in the Middlesbrough area to find experienced and qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs). This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a more autonomous and responsible role within a primary school setting, leading learning activities and covering classes in the short-term absence of a teacher. If you hold HLTA status and are ready to take the next step in your school career, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Setting
In this role you’ll be a key member of the school team, taking on whole-class teaching responsibilities and delivering pre-planned lessons across KS1 and KS2. You’ll work closely with class teachers and the Senior Leadership Team to ensure continuity of learning, and will play a vital role in supporting the wider needs of the school. Our partner schools are inclusive, well-resourced environments where HLTAs are respected and valued professionals.
