With no planning required for most day-to-day assignments and opportunities available throughout the academic year, this is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers and ECTs looking to gain valuable classroom experience.
What you’ll be doing
As a KS2 Teacher, you’ll play a vital role in helping pupils achieve their full potential by delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire learning and confidence.
Depending on the placement, you will:
- Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 2
- Create a positive and productive classroom environment
- Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents
- Take on full classroom responsibilities during longer-term placements
For day-to-day supply roles, lesson planning is typically not required, with schools providing resources and clear guidance for the day.

What we’re looking for
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 in a UK primary school
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Good knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
- A passion for helping children achieve their best
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
