About the Role
Connex Education is seeking enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed Primary Teachers to join our team in the new year to work across a range of welcoming local primary schools on the Wirral. We partner with schools that value high-quality teaching across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
Positions are available immediately in January 2026 and on a flexible basis. You can choose the schedule that suits you – full-time, part-time, or ad hoc daily supply. Many placements begin as temporary, but there is often potential for long-term or even permanent opportunities.
This is an ideal opportunity for Early Career Teachers seeking varied experience across multiple schools or a pathway into longer-term roles, as well as experienced educators seeking greater flexibility.
Assignment Details
You may be offered a range of placements, including:
- PPA cover for full days and half-days.
- Daily sickness and course cover.
- Part-time job-share bookings.
- Full-time teaching bookings to cover sickness, maternity etc.
- Termly bookings to support ECT induction.
- SATS and Phonics intervention roles.

Person Specification
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through Connex.

- Delivers pre-prepared materials confidently across different subjects.
- Communicates clearly and supports pupil engagement.
- Observant and reflective, able to recognise and respond to changes in behaviour or wellbeing.

- Upholds school standards and demonstrates reliability and initiative.
- Punctual, well-organised, and dependable in managing responsibilities.
