Role: Classroom Supply & Home Tutor
Rate of pay: £550 – £900 P/W
Location: Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham
**About the role**
Teachers have a remarkable ability to transform young lives through the power of education. We are currently seeking one of these exceptional educators to join our team and support young learners in the Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham region. Connex is looking for a teacher who is confident in teaching Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, in a unique hybrid role that combines supply teaching with home tuition.
In this position, you will provide tailored 1:1 support to students who are outside of mainstream education, helping them continue their learning through focused sessions away from the classroom. On the days that work best for you, you will return to the classroom to continue your teaching. This role is ideal for educators who want to maintain classroom leadership while enjoying the flexibility of reduced hours on specific days of the week.

**About the tuition**
As a Home Tutor, you will adopt a dynamic and personalized approach to learning. You will support students who are currently outside of mainstream education, helping them continue their studies through dedicated 1:1 session in the comfort of their homes within the B74 and surrounding areas. Each student has their own unique learning style, so we are looking for teachers who are skilled at tailoring lesson plans to meet individual needs. This role is ideal for those seeking flexible hours while making a meaningful impact. Experience working with SEN students would be an advantage.

**Role Requirements**
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) confirming employability as a Teacher in England, Scotland & Wales
· Previous Experience working in a Primary School settings
· DBS On the update service, or willingness to obtain one through Connex Education
· Strong classroom management skills
· A clear passion for working with children and fostering their educational growth
· Commitment to the profession of working in Education
· Past 2 years’ worth of referencing
