Assignment Details
The following are the types of bookings that may be available to you:
- Part-time and job-share bookings – work the days that suit you.
- PPA cover for full and half days – regular, planned commitments without the full-time pressure.
- Daily supply cover – pick up work as and when it suits you.
- Full-time cover for sickness, maternity, and long-term absence – for those who want more consistency.
- Termly bookings to support ECT induction – structured and purposeful.
- SATs and Phonics intervention roles – develop or apply specialist skills on your own terms.

Person Specification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending QTS – final-year trainees are very welcome to apply.
- Experience teaching in primary schools (placements count for ECTs).
- Good working knowledge of the primary curriculum across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2.
- Strong classroom management skills and a positive, adaptable approach.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships quickly.
- Current DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one through Connex.
