Role: PPA Cover Teacher (EYFS – KS2)
Rate of Pay: £150 – £210 per day (dependent on experience)
Location: Walsall
About the Role
Connex Education is currently recruiting for a confident and adaptable PPA Cover Teacher to support a welcoming primary school in Walsall.
This role involves covering lessons across all year groups from EYFS through to KS2. All lessons will be pre-planned by the school, so your focus will be on delivering engaging sessions and maintaining a positive learning environment.
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
- Maintain strong classroom management and ensure a productive learning environment
- Build positive relationships with pupils and staff across the school
- Adapt confidently to different year groups and classroom settings
- Uphold school behaviour policies and ensure consistency across classes
This role is ideal for a flexible and proactive teacher who enjoys variety and thrives in different classroom environments.

Role Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Careers Teacher (ECT / NQT)
- Experience teaching across the primary age range (EYFS – KS2 desirable)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Adaptable and confident covering different year groups
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
