Role: Primary Supply Teacher (Qualified and ECT)
Location: Bootle, Sefton
Salary: £130–£180 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm – full time or flexible days available

Connex Education has consistent bookings available across a range of welcoming primary schools in Bootle and the wider South Sefton area. We work in partnership with many primary schools across Sefton, giving you access to a wide variety of settings and year groups. Whether you want a couple of days a week or a full-time schedule, we have schools that need you.
About the Schools
You will be working with friendly, supportive primary schools across Bootle and South Sefton. Schools vary in size and setting, offering opportunities across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. They value high-quality teaching, provide clear planning, and welcome supply teachers as a valued part of their school communities.
Assignment Details
The following types of bookings may be available to you:
- Daily supply cover across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
- PPA cover for full and half days.
- Part-time bookings – work the days that suit you.
- Full-time cover for sickness, maternity, and long-term absence.
- Termly bookings to support ECT induction.
- SATs and Phonics intervention roles.

Person Specification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending QTS – final-year trainees are very welcome to apply.
- Experience teaching in primary schools (placements count for ECTs).
- Good working knowledge of the primary curriculum across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2.
- Strong classroom management skills and a positive, adaptable approach.
- Current DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one through Connex.
- Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) – desirable.
