The Role
As a Primary Teacher, you will play a key role in creating engaging learning experiences that help pupils thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
Depending on the assignment, your responsibilities may include:
- Delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Creating a positive and supportive learning environment
- Supporting pupil progress and attainment
- Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
- Undertaking planning, preparation and assessment in long-term positions
- Contributing to the wider school community where required
For most day-to-day supply roles, lesson planning is not required, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality teaching.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Recent experience teaching within a UK primary school
- Experience teaching within a primary school
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum
- A commitment to supporting pupil achievement and wellbeing
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
