Connex Education Partnership is currently seeking knowledgeable and enthusiastic Primary Teachers on a supply basis. We work with a wealth of fantastic schools in the Burton upon Trent area, and we are excited to register any candidates with the appropriate skills, knowledge and qualifications. The best thing about working with Connex Education is the flexibility. Whether you would prefer to work part-time or full-time, in a variety of schools or just one, within one primary Key Stage or across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, we can find the role that suits your exact needs.
We are particularly interested in hearing from any candidate who are passionate and enthusiastic classroom practitioners. You must have an excellent understanding of what is required of a Primary Teacher, and you should have a track record of planning and delivering high-quality lessons that are differentiated to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.
As the ideal candidate, you will have:
- A relevant Teaching Qualification, such as a PGCE or B.Ed, with QTS
- The ability to teach within your preferred key stage, with experience planning and teaching to meet the requirements of the National Curriculum
- Knowedge of SATs and Phonics schemes
- Experience working with SEND and EAL individuals
- The ability to rapidly build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
- The ability to be adaptable, being able to plan your day according to the school schedule
- Commitment to raising school standards through high quality teaching
