Are you a qualified Primary Teacher looking for greater flexibility, a fresh challenge, or your next long-term teaching role?
Connex Education is working in partnership with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Chesterfield to recruit passionate Primary Teachers for day-to-day supply, long-term placements and permanent opportunities.
Whether you’re an experienced teacher looking for a better work-life balance, an Early Career Teacher (ECT) beginning your career, or you’re returning to the classroom after a break, we’ll help you find a role that matches your experience, preferred year groups and career aspirations.
We have opportunities available across EYFS, Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2), with placements tailored to your strengths and preferences.
With immediate and September starts available, now is an excellent time to secure your next teaching role.
The Role
As a Primary Teacher, you will create engaging learning experiences that enable pupils to thrive academically, socially and emotionally while maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour.
Depending on the assignment, you will:
• Deliver engaging, inclusive and well-planned lessons
• Create a positive, supportive and stimulating learning environment
• Support pupil progress, achievement and attainment
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents
• Complete planning, preparation and assessment for long-term placements
• Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate
For most day-to-day supply roles, lesson planning is not required, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality teaching and building positive relationships with pupils.
