About the role
Connex Education is proud to be partnering with a primary school in the Vale of Glamorgan to recruit a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant. In this role, you will support the class teacher with behaviour management, offer targeted learning support, and assist with a variety of classroom activities. You’ll work closely with pupils to reinforce key concepts, provide one-to-one support when needed, and help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that nurtures every child’s development.

Assignment details
- Work across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 in a primary school setting.
- Support the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom behaviour management.
- Provide individual or small group support to reinforce learning.
- Assist in preparing learning materials and classroom resources.
- Help with tracking pupil progress and identifying areas for additional support.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support pupils in developing both academic skills and social-emotional growth.

Person Specification
- Aged 18 and over
- C or above in Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
- DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
- EWC registered
