Are you on the lookout for flexible work as a Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant in Islington? Connex Education is partnering with several schools in the area, actively seeking both ad-hoc staff for daily cover and long-term supply staff.
The mainstream primary school we’re collaborating with serves children with a variety of SEND needs, including Autism, ADHD, and challenging behavior. We’re currently seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants for various assignments, including providing 1:1 support for SEND pupils.
Key Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:
- Offer personalized assistance to students, staff, and families, fostering positive relationships.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create tailored learning plans and pathways, supporting student progress.
- Demonstrate commitment to enhancing students’ lives socially, physically, and academically.
- Proficiently provide necessary support to students, including working 1:1 with those with SEND.
- Exhibit resilience, adaptability, and quick thinking in diverse environments.

Experience required:
