Location: Stroud
Salary: £170 – £300 per day, depending on experience | Weekly PAYE pay

Connex Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced PSHE Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school and sixth form in Stroud from September 2026. This is a part-time position (0.4 timetable) working Mondays and Tuesdays throughout the Autumn Term, with the potential to continue for the remainder of the academic year for the right candidate.
This is a full teaching responsibility role, including planning, preparation, assessment, and marking. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging PSHE lessons to Key Stage 4 students, helping them develop their understanding of personal, social, health, and economic education in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging PSHE lessons to KS4 students.
• Take full responsibility for planning, preparation, assessment, and marking.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student wellbeing and personal development.
• Encourage meaningful discussion around key PSHE topics, supporting students to become informed and responsible individuals.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

Person Specification
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Previous experience teaching PSHE at KS4 level is essential.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for supporting young people’s personal development and wellbeing.
• Commitment to equality, inclusion, and diversity in education.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
