Connex Education are looking for psychology graduates in Sheffield who would like to gain experience working in schools with children with a range of additional needs including ASC,ADHD and Complex Needs. There is an option for a temp to perm basis
Responsibilities:
•Form relationships with colleagues and students
•Ensure safe and comfortable environments for students to succeed
•Manage student behaviours
•Support students in their learning using innovative approaches
The right candidate will:
•Have experience working with additional needs
•Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
•Be a team player
•Be patatient, caring and compassionate
You will be working with pupils on both a 1:1 and group basis. You will be responsible for ensuring student safety as there are some challenging behaviours that occur.
