Assignment Details
This full-time maternity cover role will begin after the Easter break, subject to all compliance checks being cleared. The school is seeking a qualified Sociology Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across KS4 and KS5 (where applicable). The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, marking and assessing work, setting cover where required, and supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes.
The role is Monday to Friday during standard school hours and will run for the duration of the maternity cover.

As a Successful Qualified Teacher, You Will Need to:
• Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching Sociology at secondary level
• Be confident leading classes of pupils aged 14–18
• Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be flexible, adaptable, and able to work under pressure
• Show enthusiasm, ambition, and a positive, proactive attitude
• Be able to commute to Lincoln and surrounding areas
