Connex - Liverpool
Connex Education are currently seeking a part-time teaching assistant for a primary school located in the Halewood area of Knowsley. This role will be starting ASAP, and will initially run until the end of the academic year.
The role is based in their EYFS department, working alongside a team of teachers and support staff in their reception class. The school are seeking candidates who have experience working with SEN pupils on a 1:1 basis. You will be supporting a pupil with ASD 8:30 to 1:30 Monday to Friday – with a view of increasing this to eventually be in class full-time across the academic year.

For this position, we ask for the following:
- You must have recent and relevant experience.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Level 3 qualification would be advantagous.
- The ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher.
- You hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain a new one through Connex.
- Two professional references.
