RE Teacher – Secondary School (Small Heath, Birmingham)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, long-term until July 2025
Pay: £165 – £240 per day (dependent on experience)
Connex Education are working with a large, busy mixed secondary school in the Small Heath area of Birmingham, who are seeking a committed Religious Education Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This is a full-time role teaching KS3 and KS4 Religious Studies until the end of the summer term.
The Role

Deliver engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons across KS3 & KS4

Plan, prepare, and assess in line with the national curriculum and school policies

Promote discussion, tolerance, and respect in the classroom

Support the wider school ethos and contribute to enrichment activities
Requirements
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
-
Experience teaching Religious Studies at secondary level
-
Strong classroom management and ability to inspire and engage learners

Excellent subject knowledge and communication skills
