Connex Education are an education recruitment specialist who is supporting a mixed, comprehensive, Roman Catholic secondary school situated in Manchester. Operating under a Catholic Diocese, this school is part of the Multi-Academy Trust which also supports three local schools at primary level. Slightly smaller than the average secondary school, they provide 900 places for pupils aged 11-16 and are currently fully subscribed.
They are recruiting for a Teacher of Religious Studies to join them this September 2023, they can cater for either a newly qualified specialist or someone with experience. You will be joining a team of highly experienced teachers who are all determined to help develop “well-rounded and well-qualified” young people.

- Qualified Teacher Status
- Religious Studies subject specialist
- Recent teaching experience in the UK
- An excellent communicator
- Evidence of good or outstanding classroom practice

Successful candidates will be required to conduct an interview and complete a vetting process which includes an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS, if you do not have one, you can get one through Connex Education.
