Role: School office admin/receptionist
Hours: 8:30-3:45, Monday to Friday
Salary: £13-15 per hour, depending on experience
Location: Prescot, Knowsley

Connex Education are working with a fantastic primary school located in the Prescot area of Knowsley who are seeking an office administrator to join their team in September 2025. This position is to cover a period of maternity until June 2026 initially.
The school is seeking a calm, organised, and proactive individual who can work well on their own and when supporting a team of staff. Good communication skills are essential as you will be liaising with parents, external providers, and colleagues across the school.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Reception management
- Pupil Data (Arbor experience desirable but not essential)
- Whole school communication
- Online payment operation
- Financial administration
- General adminstrative duties
The successful candidate will have:
- A DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
- 2 x suitable references
- Previous experience working in a school environment
- Willingness to learn new skills and be adaptive
- Committed to the safeguarding of children
- Able to work to deadlines and under pressure
