School Support Worker

£400 – £600 per week (dependent on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Support Worker to assist children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in a primary school setting in Arnold. This role is critical in providing individualized support to help children thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for children with diverse additional needs
• Assist teachers in implementing individual education plans
• Support children’s learning, communication, and social skills
• Help create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
• Contribute to developing strategies that enable children to access the curriculum

What We’re Looking For

• No specific qualifications required – full training provided
• Compassionate, patient, and flexible approach
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in care work, support roles, or working with children preferred
• Genuine passion for supporting vulnerable children
• Willingness to learn and develop professional skills
