Salary: £90 – £120 per day (Depending on hours and experience)

About the role

Connex Education is working with several schools in the Stoke-on-Trent area who are recruiting for School Support Workers. A history in care or support worker roles is desirable but not essential for this position.

About the schools

The schools we work with cater for pupils with diverse needs and backgrounds. As a School Support Worker, you will be assisting teaching staff in classrooms, providing general administrative support, and helping to maintain a positive learning environment. All staff aim to provide pupils with a nurturing and engaging learning experience. They are looking for support workers who are hardworking, adaptable, and committed to making a difference to pupils’ education.

Assignment Details

This role will commence immediately with opportunities throughout the academic year.

Person Specification

• Experience of working with children in an educational or care setting (desirable)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Be willing to support various classroom activities
• Patient and understanding approach
• Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
