About The Role
Connex Education are recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a well-established Secondary School. This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality lessons and inspiring pupils to develop their knowledge, confidence and curiosity within Science.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Science lessons across the secondary curriculum, supporting pupils to achieve their academic potential while creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment. You will be expected to assess pupil progress, provide effective feedback and adapt your teaching approach to meet the needs of learners.
The ideal candidate will have a strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils. You will be committed to maintaining high expectations, promoting a love of learning and contributing positively to the wider school community.

Person Specification
To be considered for this role, candidates must have / be able to demonstrate:
- Holding Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), proven by providing your Teacher Reference Number.
- Experience working as a teacher in a British curriculum school for a minimum of two terms since obtaining QTS.
- A full enhanced DBS certificate.
- Completion of the Connex Education onboarding process.
- A genuine desire and passion for working as a teacher and supporting pupil progress.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with pupils, colleagues and parents/carers.
- The ability to plan and deliver engaging Science lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching, professionalism and safeguarding.
- A minimum of two school-based references.
