We’re working with a large secondary school in Tameside, Greater Manchester who are in need of a Science Teacher to cover a vacancy they have available. The role is due to commence this October 2023 and will, for the right candidate, be for the remainder of the academic year.
This school is an 11 – 16, 1350 place mixed community high school. Opened in September 2010 and in January 2012 moved into a new state of the art building which has the latest up-to-date technology and resources. They strive to provide a happy confident and successful learning community where everyone is valued and challenged to achieve their personal best. You would be joining a Science department of 9 specialists.
Skills required to be a sucessful applicant for this Science Teacher role in Tameside;
- Hold a teaching qualification such as a PGCE, PGDE or equivalent with Qualified Teacher Status specialising in any Science.
- Be available 8.30am – 3.30pm Monday through Friday full-time (term time only)
Successful candidates will be required to conduct an interview and complete a vetting process which includes an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS, if you do not have one, you can get one through Connex Education at the cost of £45.
