Connex Education are working with a successful secondary school based in Corby Glenn, Lincolnshire, part of a large and supportive trust with schools across Lincolnshire. The school has approximately 251 pupils, providing a small, close-knit learning environment.
Assignment Details
This is a full-time Science Teacher role with a preference for Physics specialists, though Science specialists will also be considered. The role is to cover sickness and could be short- or long-term, depending on the length of absence. You will be teaching pupils aged 11–16, with full planning and marking expected. Due to the school’s rural location, access to a car would be advantageous.

The Successful Candidate Will:

Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification
-
Be a Physics specialist or a strong Science specialist
-
Have experience teaching Science at secondary level

Confidently manage classroom behaviour
-
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills

Be willing to engage in ongoing professional development

Work well under pressure and adapt quickly

Be enthusiastic, motivated, and positive

Be able to commute to Corby Glenn and surrounding areas
