Role: Secondary Teacher (QTS)

Salary: £140 – £260 per day (depending on role) | PAYE – Paid Weekly

About the Role
Are you an enthusiastic Secondary Teacher looking for flexible and rewarding teaching opportunities from September 2026? Connex Education is recruiting qualified secondary teachers, including ECTs and experienced teachers, for a variety of long-term and short-term placements across Bristol secondary schools.

You’ll have the opportunity to inspire and support students across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons while making a real impact in local secondary schools.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Create a safe, nurturing classroom that encourages confidence, curiosity, and positive behaviour
- Use creative and practical teaching approaches to make learning enjoyable and meaningful
- Assess, mark, and provide feedback to monitor and improve student progress

Person Specification
- QTS preferred, but strong secondary teaching experience will also be considered
- A passion for promoting equality and diversity in education
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply through Connex Education
