About the Role:
Connex Education seeks a qualified SEND teacher for a Middlesbrough educational organisation supporting pupils with learning difficulties and SEMH needs. The full-time role (Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4pm) involves 1:1 tutoring of looked-after students starting September 2025, paying £760/week (up to £152/day).

Assignment Details:
A full-time position starting September 2025 within a specialist SEN school, providing targeted academic support to pupils with diverse learning needs. Working Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm, with daily rates up to £152. Candidates must have proven experience and confidence supporting young people with varied special educational needs, particularly SEND/SEMH, as this role requires specialist expertise in working with vulnerable pupils who face complex learning challenges through individualised teaching strategies.

As a successful SEND Teacher with Connex Education Partnership, you will possess:
- Hold a QTS Qualification
- Have experience working with individuals with SEN
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Confident in your behaviour management skills
- Calm, resilient and able to communicate well with young people
- Hold a current DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one through Connex
- Be able to show proof of work in the UK
- Willing to travel between schools to provide onsite teaching support if needed
