Role: SEND Teacher
Hours: Full Time
Location: Selly Oak
A primary school in Selly Oak is seeking an experienced and qualified SEND Teacher who is passionate about developing a high-quality SEND resource base and making a meaningful impact on children with diverse needs. This is a full-time role.
About the Provision
• Enhanced provision supporting Reception and Year 1 children
• Focus on Autism, including both pre-verbal and non-verbal pupils
• Currently 5 children in the class (capacity 6–7)
The Role
• Full-time, paid to scale (reflective of experience and quality)
• Includes planning, PPA time, and regular communication with parents
• Contract from January to July, with potential extension to September and possible permanent placement
• Opportunity to develop, structure, and strengthen the provision—ideal for someone passionate about SEND
• Must have solid SEND experience and confidence with CPD and established SEND practices
