About the role:
We are working with an outstanding SEND School in Warrington, who are looking for a SEND Teacher to cover a maternity leave until Easter 2027. The role is for a lovely KS1 class for students with Severe Learning Diffiuclties (SLD). This lovely School cater for pupils aged 5-16 years that have a statement of special education needs. The school pride themselves on a creative curriculum to give pupils the best opportunities. As a SEND Teacher at this school, you will have fantastic support from class TA’s who will assist in managing behaviour and providing pastoral care to all pupils.
Assignment details:
This role will commence asap, this is a full time role. The hours consist of working 8.00pm- 3.30pm and you will receive planning time. This role will last until Easter 2027 and there is a chance of a direct contract thereafter.

Person specification:
- Experience of teaching pupils with complex needs
- Be willing to provide all aspects of personal care.
- Be able to manage behaviour and foster a positive learning environment
- Be adaptable and able to quickly build a rapport with pupils
- Able to communicate well and be patient.
- Able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
- Be confident working in accordance with indivualised learning plans and setting targets
- Have a full enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new one.
