Connex Education is working with a SEND primary school in Stockport who are recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work on a day-to-day basis.
About the school
The school caters for children with Social Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) Needs , Autism & ADHD. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting KS1/2 classes, this could be on a 1-1 or small group basis. The school are looking for a TA who is experienced working with SEMH & autism and is able to support children throughout their learning.
Assignment Details
The school are looking for someone to start ASAP and will last for the rest of the academic year.

Person Specification
- Experience working with children with SEMH & Autism
- Patience, empathy and strong communication skills
- Be able to use alternative learning styles
- Able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to provide a new one
