Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Rate of pay: £400 – £450 – Dependant on experience
Location: Birmingham
**About the role**
Connex Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a mainstream primary school. In this role, you will work closely with class teachers and specialist staff to provide tailored support for children with a range of special educational needs, helping them access the curriculum and fully engage in school life. You will assist with adapting learning materials, implementing individual education plans, and using strategies that promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour. Your support will play a key role in fostering an inclusive, nurturing environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

**Role Requirements**
- Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning or Equivalent Level 3 UK Educational qualification is required.
- Previous experience working in Educational is essential.
- A commitment to promoting equality and diversity in the classroom
- An understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Connex Education.
