Connex Education are supporting a mainstream primary school in Batley in appointing an SEN Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis.
About the school
This welcoming Primary school is in Batley is two form entry. The staff and parents work together closely to ensure each child achieves their full potential. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting a KS1 class and working 1:1 with a child with autism. The school is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who can build a positive rapport with the child.
Assignment details
This role is long term assignment starting January 2026 – July 2026 (32.5 hours per week).

Person Specification
- Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
- Have Maths and English to GCSE Grade C or equivalent
- Hold previous experience of working with children and young people
- Have experience of supporting pupils with SEN needs
