Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Rate of pay: £425 – £550 – Dependant on experience

**About the role**
Connex Education is seeking a proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school environment. This role provides the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will offer 1-1 support, helping students develop academically and socially, while also serving as a positive role model. The role will also involve supporting behavioural management strategies, promoting positive behaviour, and helping students regulate their emotions in line with the school’s policies. Your contribution will be key in nurturing their growth and empowering them to achieve their full potential. As a vital part of the team, you’ll help create a positive, inclusive atmosphere that supports every student’s journey.

**Role Requirements**
- Supporting Teaching and Learning or Equivalent UK Educational qualification is desirable.
- Previous experience working in Educational is essential.
- A commitment to promoting equality and diversity in the classroom
- Experience supporting SEN is required
- An understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Connex Education.
