SEN Teaching Assistant
£415 – £500 a week.
Location: Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham

**About the role**
Located in the heart of Sutton Coldfield, the school supports children with complex and multiple difficulties, including Severe learning difficulties (SLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This school is passionate about meeting the needs of those children with the most complex needs and have created a very caring and safe learning environment for students to develop and flourish. The school are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join the team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced teachers to support pupils’ learning, development, and well-being. This role includes supporting classes with mixed age groups across KS1 and KS2 and varied needs and abilities. **Role Requirements**
- Teaching Assistant experience is required, especially SEN experience working with children with PMLD, SLD or Autism.
- Previous experience working in Educational is desirable.
- A willingness to provide personal care if required.
- A commitment to promoting equality and diversity in the classroom
- An understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Connex Education.
