Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Rate of pay: £100 – £120 Per day

**About the role**
Connex Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support students in a mainstream secondary school, working closely with subject teachers, pastoral teams, and specialist staff to provide tailored support for young people with a range of special educational needs. You will help students access a broad secondary curriculum by adapting lesson materials, implementing Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), and delivering targeted one-to-one or small group interventions that promote independence, resilience, and positive behaviour. Your role will be key in fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally while building confidence and preparing for the next stage of their education.

**Role Requirements**
- Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning or Equivalent Level 3 UK Educational qualification is required.
- Previous experience working in Educational is essential.
- A commitment to promoting equality and diversity in the classroom
- An understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Connex Education.
