SEN Teaching Assistant
Middlesbrough
You MUST have the right to work in the UK to apply.
About the Role
Connex Education is partnering with an Alternative Provision setting in the Middlesbrough area to find a passionate and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a 1:1 role supporting a young person with complex needs — and it’s not your average classroom job. If you thrive in dynamic environments and genuinely believe every child deserves a chance to succeed, we want to hear from you.
About the Setting
This AP setting supports young people who need something different — students who may have struggled in mainstream education and require a tailored, therapeutic approach to learning. You’ll be joining a tight-knit team of dedicated professionals, working alongside the SENCO and specialist staff to deliver meaningful, personalised support. The focus here is simple: help young people rebuild confidence, re-engage with learning, and thrive.
