About the role
Connex Education is working with a SEN school assisting them in recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant. The school is located in the LS10 area of Leeds. They are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who is interested in starting at the school on a temp to perm basis. They need a SEN Teaching Assistant who can work with the age range 2 – 19 years.
About the school
The school itself caters for pupils with a range of needs. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting children with challenging behaviour, SEMH and other needs. The school aims to develop children’s social and emotional skills. Each member of the school shares their expertise and knowledge to promote inclusion.
Assignment Details
The role is to start April 2026 – July 20206 with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Person Specification
- Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
- Have Maths and English to GCSE Grade C or equivalent
- Hold previous experience of working with children and young people
- Have experience of supporting pupils with SEN needs
