Connex Education Partnership is working alongside a very large Trust in the North West of England. We are helping them to provide quality, inclusive, specialist education for pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties and autistic spectrum disorders at one of their primary special academies.
As well as short term cover, the school have needs for SEN TA’s on a long term basis, which could possibly become a permanent role for the right candidates.
Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Hours: Full time
Location: Cheshire
As a successful SEN teaching Assistant you will possess:
– Relevant qualifications and have recent experience in a classroom and/or working to support children with Special Educational needs
– Good knowledge of the national curriculum
– Be able to explain key concepts fluently and accurately
– Be prepared to work at short notice or pre-booked wherever possible
– Create a nurturing and inclusive environment
– Good time management
