Connex Education is working with a specialist SEN school based in Nottingham, that is looking for staff for their upper site which is working with Secondary age pupils,

The school itself has a good ofsted rating, it is part of a larger trust which has SEN schools across Nottinghamshire and the UK. The school has two sites a upper and lower site.
Assignment details
The Role will start as in September, the school ideally is looking for staff to work Monday to Friday working hours of 8.30am to 3pm. The school is looking for proactive staff who have personality to join their team. If you have a background of working in care as a support worker the skills are transferable. If you have a good understanding of positive behaviour management, Autism and behaviours that may challenge then this may be the role for you.

Person Specification
- Have experience of supporting pupils with in mainstream or SEN setting
- Strive for excellence and go the extra mile!
- Be willing to provide personal care
- Be confident in working with challenging behaviour
- Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
- Being able to commute to Nottingham
