About the role
Connex Education is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teacher to support multiple schools based across the Nottinghamshire area. This is a fantastic opportunity for educators to make a difference to students with special educational needs and disabilities.
Assignment details
As a successful SEND teacher, you will be skilled to deliver engaging lessons to children with diverse learning needs, work closely with support staff and ensure every child’s learning goals are addressed.
This role is to start in September, you will be offered consistent work which may become permanent for the right candidate. You can be flexible on the days you choose to work; however, we require commitment and reliability to the school. In return we can offer you a guaranteed pay option (Ts&Cs apply).

Person Specification
- Hold qualified teaching status (or have a strong background working with young people)
- Have suitable, UK teaching experience
- Able to diversify teaching techniques to suit all students
- Able to work with students of varied abilities
- Can commit to a long-term placement until July 2024 as a minimum
- Reliable and consistent
- Capable of your ability to work with challenging behaviour
- Able to work under pressure effectively and ‘think on your feet’
- Passionate about the success of young people and supporting the local community
- Ambitious and enthusiastic with a ‘can do attitude’ and good sense of humour
