About the role:
Connex Education are working with SEND Schools and Resourced Provisions accross Runcorn and Widnes who are looking for supply teachers. The schools and provisions we work with cater for pupils 2-19 years with SLD, ASC,PMLD, sensory and complex needs.
About the Schools:
The schools we work with provide high quality care and education to students with additional needs. Classrooms are heavily staffed, and usually have 2 / 3 Teaching Assistants in each room to support various students needs.
Assignment details:
Connex Education are looking for Teachers who are readily available for immediate starts. The hours consist of working 8.30am-3.30pm.

Person specification:
- Experience of teaching pupils with complex needs
- Be able to manage behaviour and foster a positive learning environment
- Be adaptable and able to quickly build a trusting relationship with pupils
- Able to work well as a team with TA’s
- Able to communicate well and be patient.
- Be familiar with EHCP’S, assessing and setting targets
- Able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
