Connex Education is working with a small SEN School on the outskirts of Newark, The School is a specialist SEND school the specialises in Autism and learning disabilities. The school has 30 pupils specialising in Autism.

The school itself has a good ofsted rating, the school is also part of a charity as well. The school is on the outskirts off Newark so being able to drive to the school is a must due to the location. The school is a small school with modern facilities. The classes are small with groups of 4 spilt into classes based on abilities. The school does have some elements of challenging behaviour.
Assignment details
The Role will start as soon as possible when once cleared for work, the role will be a temp to perm role with 12 weeks of employment through Connex and then moving to the school. The school are looking for full time staff being able to commit to working 8.30 until 4pm. These hours are non-negotiable due to requirements of the school.

Person Specification
- Have experience of supporting pupils with in mainstream or SEN setting
- Strive for excellence and go the extra mile!
- Be willing to provide personal care
- Be confident in working with challenging behaviour
- Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
- Being able to commute to Newark and surrounding areas
