£425- £450 Per Week depending on experience

Connex Education are currently recruiting Teaching Assistant on behalf of a SEND school in Northwich.
About the School
The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is able to start immediately and has experience working with Severe Learning Difficulties and Complex Needs. The school is well equipped with a hydro-therapy pool, sensory rooms and lots of outdoor space. The staff here work together to ensure each student’s needs are met, whether they be academic, emotional or physical.
Assignment Details
The role will be working for 8.30am – 3.30pm 5 days a week. You will be working across various classrooms, including both primary and secondary year groups, providing support to students in small groups and on occasions 1:1. This role will involve some aspects of personal care.

Person Specification
- Have experience working with children with SEN in an educational or residential setting
- Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one.
- The ability to build new relationships with staff and pupils
- Be able to manage challenging behaviour
