About the Role
Connex Education is working in partnership with a Primary SEND School in Birkdale who is recruiting for a SEND TA to join their team in October.
This role will consist of supporting EYFS-KS2 children with complex needs across several classes, you will need to adaptable and be able to build relationships with both pupils and staff.

Assignment Details
This SEND Teaching Assistant role is full-time, Monday to Friday, (8:30am to 3:00pm), starting in October 2025 and continuing for the academic year. There is a chance of a direct contract after 1 term.
Person Specification
- Experience of supporting primary aged pupils with Autism, SLD and complex needs.
- Be understanding and empathetic with the ability to help children self -regulate.
- Promoting life skills and empowering pupils by building confidence.
- Be engaging and providing a consistent child-centered approach.
- Be willing to provide personal care.
- Able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
