About the Role
Connex Education is working in partnership with an independent SEND School in Liverpool , who are looking for a dynamic and passionate SEND TA to join their team on a full-time basis.
This role will consist of supporting pupils across KS2/3 who have severe physical impairment, complex health needs and Autism. As a SEND TA in the class, you will provide a supportive and safe and happy environment for all pupils.

This fantastic SEND School caters for pupils aged between 3-19 years with complex needs. The School has purpose built facilities including a soft play room, interactive sensory room, rebound therapy room and an onsite hydrotherapy pool. The dedicated staff offer a unique approach and a creative curriculum to all pupils. The development of communication is a strong focus for the School and they have onsite speech and language specialists.

Assignment Details
This SEND Teaching Assistant role is full-time, Monday to Friday, (8:30am to 4pm), starting ASAP and continuing for the academic year. There is a chance of a direct contract after 1 term.
Person Specification
- Experience of supporting pupils with Autism, PMLD, Medical needs and Speech and Language difficulties.
- Be understanding and empathetic with the ability to help children self -regulate.
- Able to work as a team with dedicated staff and work well with onsite nurses and therapists.
- Be dynamic and focused on providing a calm and supportive environment.
- Be willing to provide personal care.
- Able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
