Connex Education is working in partnership with a Primary School in Wirral who have a resource provision and they are seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team in January.

This Primary School is a happy, calm, caring and family-orientated community set within a well-resourced, safe learning environment. The resource provision consist of 10 pupils with EHCP’s and have been diagnosed with Social, emotional mental health.

Assignment Details
This SEND Teaching Assistant role is full-time, Monday to Friday, (8:30am to 3.30pm), starting in January and continuing for the academic year. There is a chance of a direct contract after 1 term.
Person Specification
- Experience of supporting pupils with SEMH and confident managing challenging behaviour.
- Be understanding and empathetic with the ability to help children self -regulate.
- Able to work as a team with dedicated staff to help create a calm and nurturing learning environment.
- Focused on helping pupils to develop academically and socially..
- Able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
