About the role:
Connex Education are working with a fantastic SEND School in Liverpool who cater for Pupils 11-19 years with Autism and SLD. They are looking for a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team.
About the School:
The School aims to provide an outstanding educational provision for pupils and all staff have a detailed understanding of pupils needs. As an SEND Teaching Assistant at this school, you will be providing pupils with academic, social, emotional and health needs.
Assignment details:
This role is full-time and will commence asap. The hours are Monday-Friday 8.45am until 3.45pm. This is a temp- to- perm contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a SEND Teaching Assistant who is passionate about helping pupils with Special Educational Needs.

Person specification:
- Experience of supporting pupils with Autism and additional needs.
- Be understanding and empathetic with the ability to help children self -regulate.
- Promoting life skills and empowering pupils by building confidence.
- Be able to build positive relationships with pupils whilst maintaning professional boundries.
- Be engaging and using a person-centered approach.
- Be willing to provide personal care.
- Able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
