About the role:
Connex Education are seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a SEND High School and in Crosby that cater for pupils 11-16 years with moderate and complex special needs.

This lovely School is the heart of the community that creates a supportive learning environment that meet the individual needs of the pupils. All staff work as a team to push pupils academically, socially and personally.
Assignment details:
This role will commence asap and will be for the remainder of the academic year with a view to a contract for the right candidate. This is a full time role and will consist of working Monday-Friday 8.30am-3.30pm.

Person specification:
- Experience of supporting KS3 and KS4 pupils with moderate and complex needs
- Be able to provide pastoral support, build relationships with students and help them to be the best version of themselves.
- Able to communicate well and be patient as well as bring self-regulated and calm.
- Be able to interact well with pupils and staff and able to work well as a team.
- Able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
