Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

Pay: £85 to £95 Per Day

Connex Education is working with a SEND school based in Chinley who are recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis.
About the school
This is fantastic role in a school specifically for students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) and caters to variety of needs including autism, ADHD and learning difficulties. They are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to support students aged 11-16 with their educational journey and provide a safe space for all students to reach their full potential.
Assignment Details
This SEND Teaching Assistant role is to for an immediate start and an ongoing assignment, Monday to Friday, 8:50 to 3:20PM.

Person Specification
- Have experience of supporting pupils with Special Needs, either in a school or a similar setting.
- Be willing to provide personal care.
- Be confident in working with challenging behaviour.
- You must have a current enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to provide a new one.
