About the role
Connex Education is working with a mainstream secondary school in the Middlesbrough area who are recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work full-time, working with students across KS3-KS4 with SEND.
About the school
The secondary school is based in Middlesbrough and focuses on creating a positive environment where every student can grow and excel. They are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant who will work with a number of children with SEN needs and be a crucial part of the team , who are a warm and welcoming team of teaching assistants.
Assignment Details
This is a full time role working Monday to Friday 8:00am start until 2:30pm, experience working at Key Stage 3 and 4 is essential for this role.

Person Specification
- Hold a Relevant Qualification in SEND or Teaching Assistant – desirable
- Have experience of supporting students in a secondary school or similar setting
- Be confident working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis
- Good Knowledge of different types of Special Needs
- Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one with Connex
